Actually only about half way on this trip.

Started at Ahipara Bay, way up on the North Island west coast.

"The best laid plans o' mice and men" - low clouds.

My maps call this South Head?

Straight as an arrow.

Mauganui Bluff - about half way.

Yes it has, as have various satellite maps which take you right down to the names of everything you never knew. There are places in my home county, here in Washington, discovered only with Google maps.
