First Repaint

Just tried my hand at repainting over the last couple of days. The Milviz paintkit is useless so I got one of the existing paints and modified it somewhat. The changes I made were as follows:
Removal of American rego and restoration of panel lines and rivets
Placement of NZ rego on dogbox and underside of fuselage
Dirtying of Tail Rotor
Painting lower vertical stabilizer and stinger black
Text down tail boom
Random weathering effects to make it look more like a working helicopter.

The text down the boom is in reference to my FSE company. I'm pretty happy with it but the text on the boom is spread over two textures so the alignment isn't perfect. I'd like to dull down the shine a little but I'm not sure how to do that.

Working on another 500 repaint. This time a real NZ machine. Anybody want to guess which one? :P

Honestly don't know the aircraft but it is interesting looking at the GIMP interface.
