I suppose, under the rules of EURO, there are no longer borders as such but, if there were, I can't see illegals being much of a problem right here between Switzerland and Italy.

Maybe not anymore, but the border between the EU and Switzerland is still very real! When you hit a massive trafficjam in the middle of the mountains you know that you are nearing the border And with all those illegal immigrants from Libya, Syria and other African countries coming through Italy, the border hasn't been this real in years!

When I was a young Scottish boy, the concept of European nations living and laughing as one had yet to arrive. I'd forgotten that Switzerland always wrote their own rules.
