The first 4-mot.-Bomber oin the world was not from Germany, not from the UK and not from the USA... It was the "Ilja Muromets" from Igor Sikorsky (Сикорский Илья Муромец), tzarist Russia.... first flown: 25. 2. 1914.

Igor Sikorsky really was ahead of his time, great screens , great little program . ROF I have not had install for a whiles now.

Some serious bracing wires on that monster - what a maintenance nightmare.

I think one off the classic photo's is Russian passengers walking outside on a promenade deck with the passenger version ... they should have sold it to the Indian airlines ... you know how they are with their rail system

Indian Airways had they brought would have trebled that maybe even quadruple, even have have em dangling from the wing

Realistically, one hell off a feat for the time .. 101 years back

Pioneers designs are very interesting. Maybe, after WWIII we should learn this kind of technology

I could relate to that , we have been there done that ... back to WWII and make it a little more exciting
