Although I ALWAYS steer well clear of clouds in all my General Aviation, VFR, Sim Flights, for safety reasons.....(Captain Sensible)....

...I am very curious as to where you obtained those beautiful, realistic clouds, Marty?

They always look like an oil painting!

Paul..... :D ...!

Talking about "Clouds"...anyone remember this beauty...>>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudia_Cardinale

Its funny comparing a Nimrod to a B-52 , the MRs after doing a fly past pull up in a tight climb and bank , the Speys really kick in and make one hell off a roar were seems the B-52 to be muffled and the only thing showing it max power is all the smoke :)

Think the only smoke coming from the Nimmers was the flare dispenser that made it look like clouds after the magnesium burned away ... after the B-52 applied the gas you would think it was a cold front incoming :D

Could have been but the stereo could produce the same sound , the B-52 left with a hi-pitched scream leaving the clouds of smoke ...

Warning:
Take great care in the use of the word; "Awesome"...>>>

Quote from; The Urban Dictionary*:
"A 'sticking plaster' word used by Americans to cover over the huge gaps in their vocabulary. It is one the three words which make up most American sentences.
The American vocabulary consists of just three words: Omygod, awesome and s-h-i-t.
End quote.

You have been warned..... ;) ...!

Omygod, awesome and s-h-i-t.

The first two come from too much time spent flying in California - the third came over on the Mayflower.

I learn all this stuff from daily reading, and listening to, Kron4, and the LA Times, news broadcasts..... ...!

They also broadcast some really, truly, awesome weather forecasts!.... :P ...!

Paul....detouring around Oakland... :wink2: ...!

P.S.....The Mayflower...>>>
The Pilgrim ship Mayflower has a famous place in American history as a symbol of early European colonization of the future United States.

...and confusion over which side of the road to drive on....

.... ... ... ...!

The funny thing is, Marty, the only folks who I have been in constant communication with, (via Flight Sim Forums), every day, for the past 18+ years, have been my good friends in the big island across the Atlantic Ocean..the Northern bit.... :D ...!

They are always ready for a chat, (they love talking, endlessly), and a bit of fun!

I do wind them up, regularly, but ALWAYS include lots of Smilies in my posts, to show that I am only having fun with them, and they are a pretty good-natured lot.
(English humour always confuses them).

They are a grand lot, but I just wish that they wouldn't keep speaking; "Redneck"..... ..... ...!

The Females always modify my brain with their high-pitched, back-of-the-throat sounds, in news/weather. etc, broadcasts.
I keep telling them about it, but they don't take any notice of me...Females never do!

I'll tell you what though, I'm sure, with my frequent mentions on my various internet posts around Planet Earth, that I have managed to reduce the utterance and printing of the dreaded word; "Awesome"....

So. obviously, some of my far-away Chums are listening to me!... ...!

Paul...still working on lots of other similar words... ... ... ...!

P.S.....Why do New Zealanders speak; "Australian"?...... ...!
