"ANZAC" stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps the acronym was started 100 years ago as the two army's stormed the beach at Galipoli 25th April 1915. The landings were a failure were approximately 12000 Australians and New Zealand's were killed , this was the first real push by the then colonial forces.

Every since then the name ANZACS has stuck with every war and campaign right up to today, so you can use aircraft and types uses but the airforces or other appropriate theme.

I have to confer with Doug and change a rule because ANZACS were operational overseas - It would be a good one people can do a little research, you do have so many choices from WWI to Afghanistan.

Roel , With the skill we have seen by some off you guys recent work ... course good example : RAF Bomber command , a lot of aircraft that were involved and flew mission over Holland and many were shot down and killed making this theme more with the idea, were entirely ANZAC crews.

This months theme is international and a very Important one.

Hmm. A bit curly considering the AC in ANZAC stands for Army Corps.

Yes indeed , but in history ones who perished Aircrew, Navy and Army, were all consider as ANZACS in memory ... for screenshot its going to be a little difficult to have soldiers or Armies in a Flight Sim , Norman Franks "Ton Up Lancs" book mentions aircrew as the ANZCAS and so do many more WWII history book I have here. ANZAC was given to combined forces Vietnam was the most prolific known , plenty of New Zealanders flying T-28s Broncos and Bristol's and all-sorts under the ANZAC banner.

Put you thinking caps on boys ANZAC = Not only for Australian New Zealand Army corp but also any of the following can be used "Air NZ Air Cargo", "Australian New Zealand Air Connections", "Any NZ Air Carrier" etc
So as I said put your thinking caps    on and come up with something brilliant

Boy that's a great way to look at the ANZACS ... not bloody cricket and the 'Black Caps' , .. I recon a little more creativity like last month and specific due to this years ANZAC day would have inspired some real thought and memory from all the regions around the world .

Just checking the prize ... what do you want , all A2A are superb , now I recommend ..... Frankly the rule has to change for this month again , specific due to its history and respect , its the year that would be interesting to do it right !

One off the questions first asked in this months post from one from Europe , what are the ANZACS , Well you cannot joke about this , its history and a commemoration to all services .

I'm sorry, but the first thing that pops in my mind when being "brilliant" is something offensive to you Kiwi's  So let's not go with that one ;) But it's good ANZAC is open for interpretation ;)
