Here's an RAF Spit with a Kiwi painted on the fuselage - maybe he shot one down.

A superb must for KIWIs ;) A hard cover with 376 pages, it go's thru the combat missions Al Deere from the personal accounts on attacking various German aircraft and even mentions the amount round fired on the sorties, there a KIWI II and III and even poor old III even brought it ... ole Al really went thru his aeroplanes.

The 'Just Flight' Spit isn't seen much - great externally but not so much in the VC.

Dave ... i meant "fisheye" but i know ... you know , what i meant.
Agree the JF model is not seen often ... even the "great" A2A acuu thingy is a bit sparse.
But then , i guess , some fly, and some screen (some do both) but there is a gap between the two ..... thats why i never get into conversations about flight dynamics ;)

Was it JF who did the prototype spit ?

Their BofB release has, I think, both the prototype Spit and Hurricane. I've reached the conclusion that they all - tubeliners, jets and the rest, all pretty much fly the same so I tend towards screenshots.

A2A s Dose have the best prototype variant , ole wooden propeller , a Mutt Summer s canopy .. he was short after all and a performance to match B-)
