Lightning landing angles at Hamilton .

As if one could land there anyway ...


and from the otherside..... not so light. ( as in well lit)


Shame about the "stripes" on that front probe ... cant do anything about it ... so , i wont.

Your Barbers pole paint on that pitot tube is required , I'm sure you can get in but you have to make it safe for the ground crew, you need that b/white pole cos on the ground these are just as dangerous

Technically you can land a plane anywhere. It's just a matter of how it's landed

sorry to come back to an old post ..... Ian , i dont think they had the bands on that tube, its just my system.

Yeah ... i thought i was a little too nose down at that point .... but the thing moves so bloody fast , if you flare too soon even with power off ... your back in the pattern

I was out of gas at that point anyway , so it was going to end then ... one way or another

Gone away from the Lightning .. Love to see a superb Short Stirling .. was my 11/12 Birthday prezzie from my Father , but Lighting strikes twice , Idea is start recreating memories ,you can't photo them so you have to create them , I believe the best thing to do is Hook into your Angles !
