Thanks Paul , Its ideal for the short sectors and makes for a lot fun ... course like you we grew up with them , I really like to do want the very early NAC paint .. to go with the Just Flight Viscount .. that would make for excellent screen over Rob Mount Cook scenery.

Looks nice. Hopefully we'll see a number of repaints for this one (although JF models never seem to be repainted much). Also curious about the Northwest (Mesaba) livery that is apparently included. I haven't seen images of it in any previews.

Nice to see Just Flight still use ugly textures. Not sure what it is but they always look flat and around the windows never looks right to me. That's one thing that annoyed me with their 747-2/300's. What's worse is it won't stop me getting this plane lol :D

I hope the props aren't always feathered when stopped?

No, just were my controls were set at the time on the throttle quadrant, you can see on the first pic :)

It looks cool. Time for some reminiscing.
Have the characteristics of the Dart/Dowty-Rotol prop been faithfully reproduced?

Not quite, they reach limitations within FSX , you can flatten the prop , course no reverse pitch on this model , sure that become a feature on the 600s.

Well Mike Stone and Fraser McKay did a good job on that F27. The eng/prop was very realistic. It had a bite at about 11000 RPM on the 500 and about 10500 RPM on the 100 from memory..

I think one thing that people will complain about is the sound and pitch - that specific well known whistle from the plane spotters at terminals ... very sure that is getting looked into.

With Markus hooking into NAC paints , I guess I best display the resting place of ZK-BXG.

I did a run with Rob to Ashvegas during his Ashburton photo mission for this scenery just after my little wing ding ... survived that , I spoke to Ron McFarlane previous and have his card here somewhere, Vice Pres off the Ashburton Aviation Museum , I wonder how open he maybe I'll phone Ron a day ahead , take the artwork down as well , well worth a visit great little Museum.

Sounds like a plan skinman .... ive checked the maps , and there are only about 4 corners between your place and them , and i can cut those..... so lateral movement should not be a problem , and if we take the Corolla ..g forces will also be negated , but at the cost of speed. ^_^
