Some i considered for the comp... but , thought .... no.



Remember , gate 6 at Jackson Hole is always open , with lots of nice bits already in place.

No. 1 has all the punch I like, and that's a very pretty aircraft as well.

These are all great shots, number 1 would have been a comp winner in my view

And by the way Marty, its good to see you managed to land one, instead of all the recent flares... or is it that you haven't taken off yet? Either way keep up the good work, they really are excellent

I know what you mean... Marty ' s reject shots are well ahead of my best efforts. Just gotta keep plugging away at it i guess

John , when they first brought the 727s in were you one working on the aircraft NZ7271 was stripped down to bear metal, every possible access panel was removed .

Remember that well, was pretty rough when it arrived, but a wee gem by the time we finishrd with her. I did a bit of work on the VIP kit as well. Many hours spent climbing in and over her,

maybe that's why Martys shot appeals more than others ... been there done that kinda thing...

One thing that did strike me with that , Marty's 727 screen , back then I also crawled in and out off it , this is were I made fittings, had to be custom for internal panels, one thing I recall was these very different thread type , course all US Imperial , but that screen and colour brought back memories.
