I did a painting in high school off this very scheme, all guestamation < (Ianglish) landing in Wellington over the NZR's Cook Strait Ferry 'Aranui' , doubt if the school keeps students art portfolio's from 1975, would have love to post it against that :)

Cheers Ian ...this isn't entirely accurate , NAQ was a 737ADV (I didnt buy that expansion) But by following Jon's instructions .... it fits.
A bit of history ... "NAQ ,The last NAC livery worn by this aircraft before the merger with Air New Zealand in 1978."

I don't think back then I used the NAQ rego , more likely would have been NAC, I also did not go for the expansion... who wants HUSH KITS ! :)

ZK-NAQ C/N 21131 Purchased brand new by NAC in in November 1975.
In June 1976 it left New Zealand permanently, initially on a lease basis.
Since departing NZ, it has flown in Nigeria, Belgium, The Netherlands, and South America.
Since 1990, she has been flying in Chile with Lan Express, registered as CC-CYC.
