100% like it .... Im an advocate of "simple is good" , a screen shot of a beautiful aircraft.... nothing more

....and its going to be a very sad moment when 558 shuts down for the final time later this year. No more Vulcan howl...(well except maybe for XL426's taxi runs at Southend). Every time I watch 558 fly, the hairs on the back of my neck rise - she's just so beautiful and incredibly responsive for an a/c of her size. Was hoping to get over to the UK to see her one more time but some rather heavy and unforeseen house maintenance bills have put paid to that!
As a lad attending various airshows in the UK in the 70's we gave our American friends a real ribbing comparing the take off and following displays of the Vulcan and the Buff. The Buff would very reluctantly depart terra firma, disappear over the horizon, before returning about 15 minutes later only to recede over the reciprocal horizon after a stately high level run and then return again, for the same, after another 15 minutes! Yawn! The standing joke was that the American pilots had got lost. Yes, the mighty Vulcan, your end may be near but the memories will always live on.
