Spitfire-Hurricane Flight

Last week a friend and I decided to do a Battle of Britain remembrance flight over Southern England. We took off from Biggin Hill (EGKB) , Scouted the south coast watching for raiders and then back to Elstree (EGTR) for a fuel top up, sadly no ammunition had been expended on this sortie.

We enjoyed cavorting together among the soft fluffy clouds, it's been some time since I last took my Hurricane for a spin so it was well worth the effort. The Mk1 Hurri was not really a match for the Mk1 Spit though not far off surprisingly.

We had great fun. I hope some of you chaps enjoy the captures as much as we did taking them.

Maybe these shots will inspire you to organise a multiplay or even just a Spit/Hurri flight of your own....
