It's been in the high 30s this past week, so I thought I'd head south and join me mates for a coldie :)

Thanks Marty - it's the Aerosoft Antarctica - I bought it for a screenie comp, but it was on special and our Oz dollar was worth something then.
The C-17 is the UKMil one. I won't criticise it, because there is a panel update which I downloaded but did not install.
That's getting to be a regular occurrence - I find a plane, then go looking for a particular paint, and a great soundset, and good airfield sceneries to fly it from, and in the heels of the hunt I am so fed up with all the faffing around I can't be bothered starting the sim to make sure it installed, never mind flying it.

Mm I may be in a minority but still prefer the Virtavia offering...

Didn't realise there were that many Oz Globemasters?
I suppose that's why our esteemed Minister of Defence and Other Things Gerry Brownlee sees NZ's purchase of a couple more to complete the fleet, as a done deal.

What is it that everyone is doing (far) Down Under I wonder?

Well, the UK Mil is free, there are also the payware Virtavia and Area51 versions, but I prefer rumblies to roaries and vacuum cleaners.
It seems the RAAF now have 8, and since I pass Amberley in the train on my museum days, I should count them - usually there are about half-a-dozen to be seen.
