At least the Corsair is in NZ colours....

The Ventura's are in NZ colours too, the RB-34 is in the green they started life in, and the PV-1 is in the 3 Color version of the paint as best as i can get it, and so is the SBD at the extreme right of the pic (if you click on it)

Yeah I saw that. What I meant is that the Corsair that is in NZ was repainted into American colours even though it's a genuine NZ aircraft.

Ahhh i get you now. From what i understand the Corsair in the Yank colors has personal significance to the owner

I was disappointed when it was repainted as I saw it the UK in NZ colours.

CN, i do remember it arriving in NZ in its RNZAF colors as it & the P-40 NZ3009 were part of the OFMC, but were sold not long after arriving in NZ to their current owner then repainted to their current schemes.
At least it is here at home and flying.. I know there is a genuine Wairarapa Wildcat flying in the states, and it is in RNZAF colors, and there is at least one Harvard flying in the states in NZ colors, and Kermit Weeks has the old Mobil Mustang currently flying in Yankee colors, there is also an ex RNZAF mustang flying in the UK.
