Welcome to the NZFF March 2016 Screenshot Competition.

This month's rules are as follows (Please read them).
If you have any queries about the rules please PM me for clarification before posting your entry.

Can I ask participants to please take note of rule 3: The images must be jpg so please don’t post png.

1) The screenshot image must consist of a screen captured from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-plane or P3D)

2)
Some editing is allowed (if you know how to do it.) Additional images - either screenshots or "real" images can be added - but the main component of the image should always be of a Flight sim screen capture.

3) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide and no wider than 1280 pixels
3a) No frames or txt to be left on the image
Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

4) Images can be submitted from March 1st until midnight 31st March 2016, with only one entry of a single image per member.
You can change your image anytime up until 1 hour before the closing time.
To change use the edit button at the bottom of your post, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one If you post comments using the quote or reply button please edit out all images from your reply or quote.

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open for members to decide who has the best image, and then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize for the month.

6) This month's theme: “AIR FREIGHTERS” (Please state Aircraft details and over what part of New Zealand the image was taken)

I ask all members to please patronize all our very generous prize sponsors.
We have an excellent prize for this month’s competition very generously donated by Milviz

Ian, your mess bill is safe this month, the only mail this far from Blighty is divorce papers and pregnancy results.

Beauty and the beast in one! My favorite aircraft of all times: the MD-11. Sadly they are being phased out rapidly in Europe. KLM retired the last passenger MD-11s in the world in 2014 and now subsidary Martinair is being disbanded completely, which means their MD-11F's have to go too :(

Image

FedEx MD-11 on short final at Auckland during a shallow foggy morning ;)

P3Dv3, PMDG MD-11F with McPhat textures, FTX NZNI, REX4 etc etc

Edit: sorry Doug for forgetting to resize ;)

Some great stuff appearing already ... when Doug asked me to choose a theme i really thought the freight thing would bomb .... but so far , so good.
Remember ... freight can be just a letter.... right through to a tank , so i think there is plenty of scope ... and a great sponsor at the end .
