... nah, not what you thought.

Having a flu I got quite irritated registering on here. Doug, however helped me out.
So, to show my appreciation, I'd like to share some screens I've taken recently as I rediscovered the pmdg md11

Please dont expect anything fancy as I'm running the fs9 on a notebook, which I use for uni.

Should be NZCH - NZAA

The weather turns out to be just fine here

Landing in nan was smooth

I was checking metars for akl but quickly returned to her astonishing beauty.

cutting through to NZAA

The weather turned out to be horrendous

I received a wind shear warning during approach 1 so I proceeded to go around
Approach number 2 was as shabby

After some f5 hammering I prepared to divert to wlg which seemed rather nice compared to akl, but I wouldn't leave without a last try. I was lucky to catch a gust free 5 seconds during final.

Nice little old lady :D I really did like flying on the older grand-mother the DC-10 and it really looked pretty on approach , the little old lady just didn't get her draws pulled up fast enough to be in the race with other big boys , Great screens B-)

They're both really pretty, and certainly (nearly) gone way too soon. I was lucky being able to see them regularly when they were used as military air charters.

Sometimes we get to see the KC-10s at Christchurch airport and seldom a MD-11 freighter (FEDEX) , cargo bays at Sydney OZ was chocker full with MDs in 2007 and 2009 but have not been back since.
