Thanks Matey ... 1916 Three weeks time is the day back to the Papanui RSA , It amazing what you can read about WWI and areas and battles like the 'Somme' 'Verdun' the changing airwar and course the Battle of Jutland with the HMS New Zealand was partially manned by then the dominion of New Zealand due to cost.

The Great thing with living were I do. shopping this morning and I bumped into my mate Stioux (Stu how its pronounced) a Vietnam Vet, .. Its off to the RSA with my art portfolio on the early afternoon 25th to meet up again, one thing I love is listening to the stories , one thing is being able to redraw many memories or recreate them from the guys who had been there done that .

Well it was decided not to display at the Papanui RSA this long weekend day the 25th regard to my artwork, that I fully respect that, this 25th has more significant's than another 25th on the yearly calendar, Great thing I was more than welcome to come in the day/evenings, I'll still head in the afternoon, have a quiet a few good friends who are veterans from Vietnam adding Stu to the mix
