Kodiak Kudos

I've always loved the Lionheart Quest Kodiak. I tried to get my old FSX version to work in P3Dv3, but had a few issues. I heard there was a (free) update, but - shock horror - I'd bought it way back in 2010 via PCAviator's "Deal of the Day" system (bad news for my old cash flow that was, LOL!) ... and so it didn't figure in my PCAviator orders list.

A few emails to Lionheart and PCAviator got a quick result (and download link) ... so ... KUDOS to both of them for fantastic support. I tend to stay loyal to vendors, so they get my vote - and recommendation!

Adam.

One thing I do like is the ocean effects in P3D wavy appearance is much better, I also do like it when companies have backups and fixs.

I didn't bother uploading it, but I have a shot of that Kodiak in a test 90k gale. The waves were terrific - and the wake extended forward. The aircraft was travelling backwards!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much of a result as regards the upgrade. Six years is an awfully long time in flight sim years. The response from Bill at Lionheart was *instant*. He then contacted PCAviator on my behalf (I also contacted them) - and they set up a new download link the same day. Companies like that deserve our support!

Here's a couple more shots of this excellent little aircraft - near Noosa and Fraser Island - Aus:

Nice work my little pole dancer .... that first screen gave me smile ... seeing you scoot past in shower of spray.
I agree "Companies like that deserve our support! " ... I was getting stuff from Bill and his good lady way back in the dark ages , and nothing was a problem.
Great shots ... great post .

Thanks, Marty!

BTW - Despite your best attempts to put me off, I succumbed and got the new Mossie: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=26043

Thanks, Bug - but I feel those shots need some of your expert HDR tweaks! They're a little too "crisp" for my liking!

They're already very nice without editing!
