It was a more uneventful flight under not the best weather conditions. The airport of Kigali is know from some of us as the only door out of Rwanda in the time of the war between the Hutu and the Tutsi in 1994...

I do like the AI .. IL-76 we them here every now and again .... Superb aircraft !

The Il 76... they are from the Ukraine... flying in for the United Nations UNHCR food and suply.

I must dig up the photos of the LI-76 parked up in Christchurch .. actually it was here with engine problems but again getting fixed and was for a food supply mission.
