Scott, I posted a link to the Davis Monthan AB bone yard in the US, amazing photos from 1960s and good in the States sent , I'll have to dig it up ... it is a HOLY MOLY!

A sobering yet fascinating place by all accounts.

It has been saved from being scrapped for the time being. Apparently GE are going to use it for alternate fuel testing. Not sure if this is airborne or ground testing.

Re SUH ...I hope she's flying , what a sad but fascinating place that is.

I went there once to buy a package of JT8s, real hot and dry, but still felt kinda sad to see all the aircraft just sitting there waiting for disposal. Took me a few days to get my head around it all!
