Bringing home the whitebait in a Wilga.

Postby Splitpin » Mon Aug 15, 2016 6:11 pm

Title may not mean much to our non NZ members sorry (Whitebait , a seasonal delicacy ... small see thru fish , super expensive .. anyway )

Stuck at home with a bad case of man flu or something , so i went flying (as you do)
Two wilgas loaded with the stuff ... shot is heading east toward Canterbury .

Image

The little Wilga is a treat ... works well in P3D , but some of the instruments are not working ... there maybe a fix .

I'm sure they would have set that up for P3D .. the AN-2 , it is later by a long whiles so don't see an issue with it ... hope not .. hoping for some whitebait :drool:

Easily fixed!!!

http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/to ... ent-720103

Edit the panel.cfg:

//--------------------------------------------------------

[Vcockpit01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,1024
visible=0
pixel_size=1024,1024
texture=$devices

gauge00=w35!US-35, 0,577,220,220
gauge01=w35!VD-10, 2,785,216,249
gauge02=w35!VR-10, 382,771,216,249
gauge03=w35!TE-45, 839,851,127,127
gauge04=w35!TCT-9, 888,693,124,124
gauge05=../SimObjects/Airplanes/PZL-104_Wilga/bin/pzl_104!emi_3k, 681,670,218,218
gauge06=../SimObjects/Airplanes/PZL-104_Wilga/bin/pzl_104!Manifold, 707,894,87,87
gauge07=../SimObjects/Airplanes/PZL-104_Wilga/bin/pzl_104!magneto_gau, 200,641,87,87
gauge08=../SimObjects/Airplanes/PZL-104_Wilga/bin/pzl_104!clock_gau, 476,539,220,220
gauge09=../SimObjects/Airplanes/PZL-104_Wilga/bin/pzl_104!fuel_syringe_dummy, 300,820,120,120
gauge10=../SimObjects/Airplanes/PZL-104_Wilga/bin/pzl_104!compass_switch, 300,430,120,120
gauge11=../SimObjects/Airplanes/PZL-104_Wilga/bin/pzl_104!voltmeter_dummy_gau, 300,340,120,120

//--------------------------------------------------------

The error is that the ../ is missing from the start of the gauge entries and the / between the folders is shown as \ in the original panel.cfg file, it never bothered FSX or P3D v2.5 as far as i can remember but P3D v3 does not seem to like it.

Hahaha!!! The early bird catches the ... whitebait ... :lol:

It's a great example of the FS community helping out. I was delighted to get that fix from the original poster. I *love* that Wilga!!!!

Marty, I understand your dilemma. You need a good Otago red to fix your flu, and you need a good white to go with the fish...life is hard, isn't it? :P :lol:
