It dose not take much before the connections connect, the watering down of the people involved , of all things , before my accident I helped out the packaging crew at General Cable, to me they seem to get the short end of the stick, great thing simply counting cable and loading box's you were moving , one lady with a very strong accent started talking about a company she worked for in 1970 as a sectary.
The Company was Beagle Aircraft Limited ... she then went on to say then changed .. and we both said it at the same time 'Scottish Aviation' So on with the chat, got on like a house on fire , she knew the people very well and when SA got absorbed into BAC/BAe she moved to New Zealand , .. I was only new at 'GC' then she went to Graham, lead charge hand .. asked who I was , Oh that 'Biggles' just plane nuts .... course later it was 'Biggles' got shot down ,
and lost a great job.
Biggest thing is you don't realize who is standing beside ya before you really start learning to learn and if ya not a dummy and really can talk the talk it is very surprising the people who you get to meet ... it is a two way road.

The time RAAF finished using the Winjeel the RNZAF were also winding up there operations with the Harvard, the old Winjeel was simply an Australian Hunting Percival Provost licence built from the the late 1940 early 50, .. the closes relation to one off these the RNZAF used was the Strikemaster.
