I got bored earlier today and went into the paint shop, and created this... Based on one of the early F-27 paint jobs, all screens taken on a little jaunt from Napier to Wellington.
There are a few little things to fix up, but looking good.. The Rego is one that was assigned to a DC-3 in the late 40s but never taken up

I would have been one off the many passengers in Welly yelling out YIPPEE .. but were are the radials .. Great piece of work, if only , would be a superb hub stopper

It would be a great hub stopper, I always wonder now if Joe McBryan at buffalo air in Canada thinks about doing this to his DC3 fleet, do it to them all except his D-Day vet C-47
