I find DCS world just a little too green sometimes , so i just toned it down a little.

One thing that would be difficult to reproduce would be ground textures least photo real stuff.

That would an interesting very scenery, to get it photo real and colourise would be a mission, I have the FSAddon black and white, I was thinking with the idea to re-produce a colour based photo, covers a huge area, but YEAH would look great.
