War thunder progress

Postby Splitpin » Mon Jun 05, 2017 8:53 pm

Sorry I've been a little distant lately ... there are several reasons, but, one is my fascination with this bloody war thunder "game" sim ... whatever.
Normally I tire very quickly with this sort of thing .. but this one has got me.
I'm working my way through the levels ... I've figured out the camera settings ... Ian would be very happy <_<

A tad random Im sorry , but I will post some better quality stuff later.

Wow - that last screen!!!!!

How does War Thunder work? Can you fly all the aircraft in offline/single player mode - but have to work your way up through the ranks for multiplayer?

Thanks for looking Adam.
You can fly some of the aircraft in "test flight" mode ... but to really get on with it ... you need to "get on with it" and do the yards.
As you said , its a game ... but no less a game than FSX , or P3D.... and in many areas it surpasses both .... like DCS.
Combat aside , it is screen fodder from heaven, for me anyway .

Can you shoot stuff in "test flight" mode? Can't bear to look at that last Spit shot ... it's just so amazing - great angle.

Adam, sorry , but you cant shoot things .
You can fire the guns  but you cant shoot anything down.

But give it a go , the process is a bit slow ... but if i can stick with it ... you sure can.
