One of the last remaining examples off the Curtiss C-46 after 80 years of use (the first was in the air in 1937) This is a short flight from Deadhorse (PASC) to Fairbanks Intl. Airport (PAFA)

Up and away from Deadhorse...

Over the clouds we change the course to south. Die C-46 is not very maneuverable ...

The last examples have renovated avionics and the use of a GPS is not false.

Shure it is but... have allways a look about ice on your aircraft ...
The aircraft is from Aeroplane Heavy and you can buy it at Just Flight... it is brandnew and needs some rework in the cockpit and in the Aerodynamics. But... it´s a not so bad aircraft in can bee a good one.
Wheater is AS 16 and the "dynamic wheater option"... Airports are from ORBX (Freeware package) and Aerosoft (Fairbanks)...
