Blackburns post war Carrier borne Torpedo fighter the Firebrand.. Originally designed as a strike fighter with the Napier Sabre H , it was not a fantastic airplane, and with the MOS designating Sabre's to Hawkers for the Typhoon, it was redesigned around the Bristol Centaurus, Still after a protracted development it was still not fantastic, but was still accepted into Fleet Service as a Torpedo carrying fighter, The Firebrand finally went into service in 1946, and served in the fleet until 1950, but was relegated to reserve status and all were retired by 1953... This is the Alphasim version, and i am still flying it in FS2004...

Phenomenal!!!!!

Has this old one been made freeware, do you think? I think I've managed to get some of the old Alphasim freebies to work in P3Dv4 - but only the ones that have separate interior and exterior .mdl files.

Adam.

EDIT: Freeware - but sadly not P3Dv4 compatible (only one .mdl file).
