Hehe - I had a scheme afoot for sinking my autopiloted C de G carrier with Erwin Welker's IJN submarine (the one I put in the "low level" screenie comp), but Ian was to busy to join the multiplayer

Your onto me Mike ... planes , trains ... and now , Submarines

This "sim/game" is called Cold waters. The learning curve is very steep ... so much to learn, so quickly as Submarine captain.
But ... as is my way , Im into it for the visuals ...and they are pretty good.
Still finding my way around it ... so more to come.

Just looking back at this , its not a game. The amount of work put into the systems alone is vast.
We cloud dwellers seem to think aviation is the pinnacle of simulation .... its not.

Nice marty !!! I haven't played a sub game in years, coincidentally I was looking at them recently and seem to be a few decent options about these days. Which is this?

It is indeed big fella ... Its ok ... far from perfect.(says me ) The campaign mode makes no sense at all ... but the graphics are great.

waters are very impressive and realistic
