Warning: 4K images

I mentioned that I'd tried out my 4K TV on the PC, although I did say that I needed a new GPU before I could use this properly. With Prepar3d, for instance the max resolution I can set is 2560x1440, which is higher than I normally use, but not 4K. Aerofly FS2, however, just loves 4K, and doesn't appear to flinch, although I do notice that my GPU fan spins like a top...
As the forum displays this at 33% of original on my browser, you really need to 'view image' or something similar to see them full size.

Yup.
Aerofly FS2 sits on a seriously solid graphics engine.
Everything else follows...

And because of what I see, I am holding off on Cultivating my back yard!

I must admit , every time I see an Aerofly image, I'm stunned at the quality of the lighting (in particular).

If I had an unlimited budget, I'd love to upgrade my hardware and make the switch - but I have so much invested in P3D I'd miss many of my old aircraft. There again - I suppose I'd be happy with just NZ scenery, a Spitfire and a C-130!

Great shots, Rob!

Adam.

I recently went back to my ultra-widescreen 2560x1080.
While it's no 4K experience, I am drawn to the viewing angle.
And Aerofly renders it without flinching.
Here's a clip I shot to illustrate how smoooothly the engine works:

This at ORBX Monterey

EDIT:
I just noticed my NVidia recorder somehow lost its voice!
I'll have to investigate...
