And the rest

If you look directly below the starboard wheel ... that's the Chrysler building (405 Lexington Ave) ...the most beautiful piece of art deco style American architecture ...I have photos of it in my living room and a model in my cave. To find it in a sim is just amazing ...anyway...

Sim is AeroflyFs2 with the East coast addon.

Beautiful, eh? There is something about Art Deco in the grand manner...
Marty if you can arrange it, try to see this with a VR rig, it'll blow yer socks off.

Wow. Just amazing the effort that has gone in over the years on modelling these big cities.
Is that by the Drzewiecki guys but for Aerofly?

They don't say. But there is a strong connection with Aerosoft (through some of the aircraft models) who have done Manhatten of course.

Aerofly is wonderful VFR-flying. After a long time of thinking about... I need not the complete world for flying VFR, but some areas with a quality llike this und we have a lot of hours. At the moment I miss the ATC and AI on the streets and in the air. But, Aerofly is well underway. Another thing on my list, some addon-aircraft with more functionality are not bad. The good news is, that Dino Cattaneo is working to convert his Trainer-Pack S.211 and M 345 for Aerofly2... A good idea in my eyes. For flying VFR I need no Airbus, no Boeing 737 or bigger, but a fast and agile little Jet is a fine thing.

Great pics, Marty!!

I'm amazed that this little "niche" flight sim market can support so many flavours: FSX, FSX Steam, P3D, Aerofly and XPlane. I wish they could all get into the same room and merge the best of each!

Which code base does Aerofly use?

Adam.

All their own -- it started out as a radio control aircraft simulator, so you could test your skills using your own controller without destroying your aircraft all the time. Aerofly RC7 is the latest version, it does look amazing, and you can see that a lot of the features were built into FS1, and now FS2.
