Oh wow - what an evocative pic!!! There are three British jets that are guaranteed to raise my pulse rate: the Lightning, the Hunter and the Tornado. Wups I nearly forgot the Vulcan!!!!

Funnily enough, I saw this YouTube clip just the other day. It's pretty old/poor quality, but the thing that struck me was the incredible precision of the 9-ship formation (starting around 2:20):

Not even a wobble in that diamond 9 ....and those shock waves. :wub:

What beautiful beasts they were , even if they were low on fuel when the gear came up :unsure:
