Thanks, Adam, I've always loved the look and lines of the whole 747 family ...and the multitude of liveries, but I can't be bothered "flying" them in the true sense of the sim ...sorry.

When I flew out ofYSSY a few weeks ago we passed a QANTAS one on the way to the runway and I thought ‘huh, haven’t seen one of those in a while...’ never thought we’d get to that stage

Nice shots as per usual SP.
In my slightly biased view the the 747 is the best widebody jet ever produced. The fact that the basic airframe design is still going almost 60 years after the first flight is testimony to that.
I did a little bit of consultancy work with iFly on the 747 and was part of the beta team.
It is a very good rendition. Not perfect but very close and handles nicely and realistically (given the limitations of the platform).

I’m glad to say that I have more time in the 747 variants than all of the other airliners I have flown combined. :

Te 747... it looks like an endless story in the history of aviation.

Sorry, I was wrong .... the scenery is Orbix NZSI, but I don't consider that an Edit.
When your posting screens of a 747 ... who looks at the scenery?

I do look at ground textures because I like to identify towns, cities, highways, streets, buildings, etc etc when I fly at FL350 past those ground textures.

And that is important if a plane's gauges fail and you need ground textures to be able to tell where you are.

When you look at my past screenshots past 10 years in various aviation forums, you will be amazed by how I identify towns, cities, highways, streets, buildings, etc etc from FL350 during flights.
