Go on ... fly under the bridge, you and 100 Navy flyers are just itching to do it :)
And unlike the Navy flyers...

There you go... no US Navy F-18, nosirree  and in so doing highlighted two of the issues in AFS2:
1. The water being PR, doesn't take close inspection
2. More often than not, the aerial photo is not edited to remove bridge artifacts. Happens at Hoover dam too I noticed.

Charl, I dont understand "PR" nor "bridge artifacts"
What I do know is ....You Sir ... yes, you Charl, coerced me into a position that produced the worst screens Ive ever posted :P

Note to self : Stay high in AFS2.

Haha be strong Marty, you have a track record now of 99.999999999999% pure, nobody's perfect!
(PR = photoreal, bridge artifact= that awful stripe on the water)

Yes, I noticed that at the Hoover Dam - there is a very nice 3D bridge, but the photo image on top of the mesh makes a "sunken bridge". It is an inherent problem with photoscenery, but there really are too many bridges to correct manually, although in FS9 and FSX you could edit the particular tile to camouflage the sunken part. At the moment there does not seem to be a quick way to identify the tile, although a fix at level 9 should carry through to the higher levels.

You're on it, Mike.
First two projects: Hoover and Coronado bridges!
Then SFO

I'm no expert fixed wing driver or anything but I believe that isn't supposed to happen...

Charl, have you discovered another patch of splashy water? There is one in the Florida add-on, although it is all pretty academic at the moment since there are no floatplanes or choppers. :(

Mike

Not supposed to happen on PR water Mike, as Nick carefully points out.
One moment I was flying along, minding my own business.
Neck' Thing... looking for the Manatees!
