Great work Naki ... which model 407 mate? looks good.
Choppers ...I can get them in the air ...kind of head where I want, and that's it
My ideal helicopter has a full autoland system :) I really love them all ...they just don't love me back.

Couple of things you can do. Removing or compressing the spring in the joystick aids in control and realism greatly as do pedals as opposed to the twist grip. The other thing is lots and lots of practise. Maybe oneday I can give you a lesson...

Its the Milviz Bell 407, Marty. The only payware helicopter I have ever had and now luckily converted to P3dv4 for free

I've been doing all this Flight Sim malarky since the year dot, and I have never been able to master the technique of flying Whirley-birds!

Far too dangerous! Much more fun (and safety) with a pair of wings to keep me in the air!

(Cessna 150 Aerobat).

The Birds got it right!...LOL...!

The only time it ever worked for me was in my 1982 Sinclair Spectrum 48k Computer; (Gunship, etc), with Invincibility/Infinite Lives, etc, turned on!

I never did have much fun Flying/Dying in Helicopters in the Sim!

Once the Main Rotor/Tail Rotor stops...its time to Die...trust me!

(Apart from Gyrocopters/Gyroplanes).....>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8IB-5PbL9U

Paul.... :D ...!

The idea is not to let the blades stop turning. In fact, you have far more control over your destiny in a helicopter if the engine stops. You can put it anywhere, you don’t need a field to land in. If both engines quit on me (almost unheard of) tomorrow over the PNG jungle, I’ll be able to settle in the tops of the trees at zero airspeed and nearly zero rate of decent... ie: I will live. Same scenario even in a C152 or similar, you’re going to hit the trees at an absolute minimum of 40kts..... ouch. In short, in the unlikely event of an engine failure, a helicopter (if managed correctly) is safer.

Close the throttle, to remove the torque and auto. If you're close to the ground and you've put the tail into the trees, close the throttle and cushion it onto the ground. Pilots train for this sort of emergency. The AW169 or whatever it was in England recently was a most unfortunate accident. Relatively new type, cutting edge technology. That occurrence is no different to the 737 MAX in Indo recently where it appears that the AoA sensor sent the elevator trim into full deflection... New technology, people died, the industry learns, improves and moves on.
