Don't have a light twin in my P3Dv4 stable and regretted buying the Realair Duke when it was available, so when the DA-62 was announced by Vertx with half of the old Realair team I grabbed it as soon as it was released. Glass cockpits aren't usually my thing but this has converted me...first long flight from Whangarei to Gisborne in the Diamond DA-62

SO sexy, for an oil-burner... funny how it stopped being a complete oddity!
Nice shots and a beautiful model.

Mighty shots Naki ....don't regret anything regarding the Duke, in my opinion, its a weird piece of work.
The DA-62 is the biz , Man of the Naki

Beautiful screenshots and beautiful rich clouds.

I doubt I will fit in that plane as I am too tall!!

They occasionally do IFR training at Whenuapai. It's a noisy bugger, especially when grinding out on the missed approach on one engine.

I see them everyday in Tauranga but these are DA-42s ... the DA-62 is a bigger 7 seater of which there are none in NZ so far. Over $1m USD a pop so probably not a much chance a flood of them here.
