This is the "Tigermoth" of the USSR. Polikarpow U-2, later after the death from Polikarpow Po 2. Build 1928-1954, around 40.000 examples. Every soviet Pilot in WWII has flown this thing at the first hours of his career. In WWII it was used also as Nightbomber, Recon-Aircraft, Liason-Aircraft for flights to the Partisans. Last military use was in Korea.
Not to fly this machine is at all as simply as one it with a school airplane for beginners expected. . . It is not very stable susceptible compared with side wind and... Even though power the thing really fun. She is so slow. One can almost stand with her in the air.
