For all you inveterate tweakers out there, you might want to know I've just released new P3Dv4.4 (or 4.3) presets for PTA and Tomato-Shade:

I take it that you need to apply the Tomato and PTA tweaks? I applied the Tomato tweak only and it has washed out the colour.

Great to see again Adam....
But ..."Tomato and PTA tweaks? I applied the Tomato tweak only and it has washed out the colour"

Say again "tomato and PTA tweaks"
In fact ...break it down a little more please ...define "Tomato" ....define "PTA" :)

PTA has the ability to automatically set the HDR values ... but TS does not. You need the apply the 3 values manually ... did you do that bit?

Adam.

Marty, Tomato is the edible berry of nightshade Solanum lycopersicum. PTA is the parent teachers association. You can use them separately, or together, as in 'Daphne has kindly made some tomato sandwiches for after the PTA meeting.'
Or maybe not...

Is dynamic lighting and tesselation enabled? What setting is your dynamic lighting set to?

Adam.

Hi Adam

Dynamic lighting is selected ON and Tesselation is set to High.

The following is with Orbix NZNI and facing south toward Hamilton with Port Waikato in the distance.
The Tomato setting to me seems a little washed out. The HDR off is probably a little too saturated so I need to opt for something in between. I can fiddle around but before I do I just wanted to make sure I hadn't messed something up.

Should changes made to TS show up "on the fly" with P3D running. Changing profiles doesn't seem to have any effect so something must be wrong somewhere.
Does TS need to be installed in any particular location?

TS can't do it "on the fly". P3D needs to be restarted after each preset change (or edit) - either of which will clear the P3D shaders *cache*. This means the sim will be a little slow on the first post-change run, but will soon settle back to normal as the cache builds up again.

TS can live anywhere - as long as you point it to your P3D root at install time.

Adam.

EDIT: If you can re-do your screenshots with location/SLEW info showing, I can try mimic your shots exactly. I'm presuming you have ORBX NZNI installed <??>. Also - which version of P3D are you on?

Adam.
