No" ignorance" Charl ...it does look like a stumpy ...but it is in fact a very early Huey. They started off "stumpy"

Disbelievingly, I Googled images for "Early Huey" and they did some strange things back then, for sure.
But for really Goofy, search "Sikorsky S-59"!

Add some "D" model Iroquois "Slicks" and you can really start cooking.
There is an excellent book "Chickenhawk" by Robert Mason. Well worth reading.

Thanks for looking gents .....I think I've read Chickenhawk about 3 times ....great book. Another one is "sweating the metal" about Chinooks in Afganistan.
