It's a Savoia-Marchetti S79 but I am not sure which type. In my FSX I have its racing ancestor, and in my Classic FS9 I have the later civil versions, but I don't know when it acquired that huge rudder.
Can't do pics, becos that machine is not playing nicely at the mom, and in any case all my controllers are on the AFS2 machine. I wish Honeycomb would get their act together.

Looks very 'business like' with machine guns in the "astrodome".

They sure do Charl , It is a combat sim but the scenery is pretty good.
Hard to get good screens as I have to" join a battle" and run the risk of getting shot down and pissing off the people doing the biz..... some of them are getting to know me and leave me alone ....I only need about 2 -5 minutes in the "zone" to get enough for a few screens.
Its a shame their (war thunder) programming doesn't allow the same camera flexibility in test flight mode, then I wouldn't have to bother those who are there to shoot stuff.

Marty - Do they provide any reconnaissance missions, as opposed to actual combat missions?

No mate they dont .... but I have found a "friendly" battle based on tanks, that allows aircraft, and I can spend about ten minutes in there before being shot down or kicked out.

Again the detail here is superb. Any chance of a SM79 with tin fish?
