This freeware starfighter for AF 2 is a nice aircraft and very relaxed to fly. . . except when landing. There he becomes an animal and comes from above like a piano. at 250 kts. The handicap is that, unlike the original, it doesn't have a brake parachute because AF2 is not yet ready. . . But compared to the professional version in the P3DV4. 5, it is easier to fly. But has these typical characteristics because of the small wings. There's that stupid joke that the engineers at Lockheed only put wings on the thing because they had no other idea where to screw the ailerons on. One should avoid tight curves with 4G and more of more than 90° degrees. What he is good at are steep climbs. It shoots up to 48. 000 ft and with afterburner almost upwards, but also eats crazy fuel. And it has a bad reputation. An honest airplane. You make one mistake, it kills you.
But honestly. He is, as many former starfighter pilots say about him despite all the nasty talk about him: He is a fantastic projectile...
