Berlin-Schönefeld (EDDB) - Fuerteventura Airport (GCFV)
Condor Flugdienst Boeing 757-300
Many Germans normally fly to Madeira or the Canary Islands at Easter. . . My last stay on Fuerteventura, however, was a long time ago. It was the week before the changeover to the Euro. In the night in question I came back and was allowed to pay the taxi from Schönefeld to Potsdam in Deutsche Mark. . .
Today Condor belongs to Polska Grupa Lotnicza. . . One has to get used to that. The Boeing 757-300 is actually almost scrap iron. Condor, Delta, Icelandair and United have them in service. Today's flight was pretty fast. I was a good 10 minutes faster than the real flight of Ryanair with the Boeing 737-800NG, although I "took out some speed" in the thunderstorm over the Atlantic Ocean. In Schönefeld at take-off 8° C and at landing 21° C in Fuerteventura . . .

It's getting uncomfortable and I'm gonna have to slow down. . .

Lanzarote in sight...

Anything down. ILS Captured.

Reaching the island of Fuerteventura

A little too high. . .

Landing 15:12 Central European Summer Time, 14:12 local time

Parking lot 28. At least there's a stop sign here for the Boeing 757. . .
