Singapore Changi Airport (WSSS) - Penang International Airport (WMKP)

Malindo Air, ATR 72

The flight as such was "artistic freedom", because for the P3DV4 the airport of Kuala Lumpur does not exist. Penang is the number 2 in Malaysia. Actually I wanted to fly the flight in the opposite direction and had taken some nice pictures of the landing approach to Singapore when the P3D stopped. happens. The next day I flew the tour in the other direction and it worked. Again the weather was unusual. At the airport of Singapore, the approaching thunderstorm was already well audible. I use a program supplement for this, which produces really heavy weather sounds.

Arriving in Penang the visibility was lousy and the landing tricky. It was a challenging flight.

My enthusiasm about this replica of Carenado is limited. The real problem is the instrument panel. The frame rate is insufficient when looking forward from the cockpit. The possibility to install the flight1 Garmin GTN 750 is nonsense, because there is no such option in the original and I am not aware of any such conversion. The flight characteristics are reasonably consistent but it doesn't feel as good as the ancient model of Flight1 for FS 2004 and FSX. As with all Carenado tuboprops, the engine replica should be used with caution. The ATR 72 is overall slightly better than the ATR 42.

There is a mod to put the 725 in an ATR but for the ‘-500 and -600’ models that’s kinda pointless

That's a shame about the Carenado ATR Andreas, how bad is the framerate?

I've just reinstalled the old Flight1 ATR on my P3D v3 install, good to have the old girl back, still a great addon after all this time
