Not much wrong there...
I've always liked the Look of AFS2, which addons are in those shots?

AFS2 must be one of the few sims I've never owned, but I've always loved the visuals. Great pics!

Excellent shots. I bought AFS2 as a replacement for FSX but, though the scenery is by and large excellent and some of the provided aircraft are exciting, it seemed to stagnate developmentwise. Since moving on to XP, I've more or less abandoned it.

Thanks I was in on the ground floor of AFS2 but have lurked to the point of forgetting what's what!
Aided to some degree by the glacial pace of development there, to be sure.
Mike, is that what you put under your tiles?

It's such a sad story. AeroflyFS2 had so much potential but development has been so slow that even it's devoted user base is giving up. One of the factors is MSFS having excellent visuals, too, but coming with world-wide scenery out of the box. Still, I would classify the AeroflyFS2 base engine as much more powerful than that of MSFS. It's the only flight simulator where I actually have fun with my HP Reverb.
The developers have clearly missed the time window for success, mostly, because they were unable to cooperate. Several developers tried making addons but one by one gave up as it wasn't profitable: ORBX, Taburet, Aerosoft, France VFR, Just Flight. Look upon the Steam usage charts showing 34 users - worldwide! - right now and and an all-time minimum of monthly users.
I can imagine them to switch focus to the mobile version, actually the same stratey the followed after AeroflyFS1 failed, and mainly for similar reasons.
Kind regards, Michael

It looks like Lake Wakatipu, wit Walter Peak in the foreground.
