Very nice. Best looking airliner ever!

I’ve been lucky to catch one landing in Auckland

A magnificent machine. When they were grounded, my first thought was "I should have been driving them for a living, and now I can't even get a ride in one". At least I was able to visit the one at East Fortune, some years later. On an earlier visit in 1987 as we went through LHR, darling daughter said "Look, Dad" and there was a Concord. about to touch down...

Thanks for looking gents ....nothing else really compares to the old girl for looks and performance. As I've mentioned before, I was lucky enough to have a very brief (5 minute) walk through an Air France one, at NZCH, many moons ago.
Very compact inside, very small windows, to me it seemed claustrophobic ... Image

The model is from DC Designs

Lovely shots !

I was at NZAA for the landing where Concorde decided to do a low fly past before landing, then on my OE in London we were sitting outside in my rellies garden when my Uncle cried "Concorde!" and sure enough there she was cruising over. I had a good look through the Concorde at Duxford on that trip, way back when she was parked outside. My first thought when I got in was shock at how small it was, a friend had let us have a good crawl around a B1900 at Welly not that much earlier and I remember thinking the Concorde really wasn't that much bigger, and that I'd never been in anything powered by jets that cramped before :)
