Ready at the stand in Queenstown

Cockpit view. I fly CRJs for a living and this Aerosoft version is far from accurate. Modeling is great, but 6/10 at most in terms of systems.

Lined up RW05, just a silhouette of the mountain visible

A hint of the new day on the horizon

Christchurch lit up down to our right

One of things I love most about MSFS is the ease of use of the drone cam to get the shot you want (especially with a gamepad)

Descending at a nice rate. You wouldn't think so, but these docile cloud layers were full of lightning.

Made it on to the runway, intense approach though. Runway going in and out of sight.

All parked up

This sim can look absolutely gorgeous

Final beauty shot, waiting for the catering

Ah, there's that lightning I spoke about. Not quite 'live' weather I believe, as no mention of thunderstorms in the METAR or TAF. But it made the flight interesting.

I would really love to see that sector in daylight.
