In search of "the other scenery" I came across the here yesterday:
https://secure.simmarket.com/simworks-s ... msfs.phtml
The Okavango Delta is one of the last reserves in Africa for wild animals threatened elsewhere. . Now you can visit it virtually, I'm not one of the people who can spend 10,000 US dollars for a day in the bush and i think it's nice to be able to holiday there at least in this way

Hopefully no elephant comes up with the idea to running on the runway A collision would be fatal for both. The propeller of my Cessna L-19 Bird Dog would certainly cause him serious injuries, but the smal aircraft weighs a maximum of 1202 kilograms, an African elefant up to 5 tons. None of us would survive that. He doesn't, I don't.

A tanker, good to know. Fuel is scarce out here.

Flying directly over these lodges is not a good idea. Tourists did not pay thousands of dollars for aircraft noise.

Elephants. The makers of the scene have said that 12,000 animated animals are on the way. In addition to elephants, there are antelopes, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, water buffalo, lions, flamingos...

As in the original, there are quite long runways, but no lighting. It is landable only flown during the day. In addition to tourists, everything that is used in food, fuel and equipment to operate the camps are transported by air.. Fly over the runway before landing. It may be, that animals are on the runway.

The right plane for this scenery are high-deckers, so you also have a view of the animals. A bow landing gear is desirable in order to see what is moving in front of the aircraft during take-off and landing. A GPS is practical but the map view is sufficient since the distances are not great. You shouldn't stubbornly "follow the line, because you don't get to see so much. In the original, the Cessna Caravan and the Stationair are mainly on the road. But it's good to fly an UL that's slow enough to see "what's down there."
Jo then let's go.

That looks amazing to fly or hoover over this part of the African wildlife. Are the animals(elephants, giraffes,...) moving in a natural way or more randomly static placed?

I have seen that some elefants moving and are not only static as seen in 5 and 6. These Elefants in the water in Picture 7 seemed to be static. More flights are needed to find it out. A freeware in the next few days from SWS ist a jeep and I hope to make spectacular pictures from the gound and can say more.
