IL-2 STURMOVIK is a "great" simulation (supported by its historic and add-on campaigns) .... "RECOMMENDED" for any FS enthusiast with leanigs toward the now classic WW2 aerial combat era.

I have, and use, this simulation myself (along wit RISE OF FLIGHT too) whenever I'm not at virtual high altitude and with something much heavier, and faster, and more docile too

Radar, I was aware of the sale ...but I have everything they produce at the moment, just haven't had time to screen all of it.
As I said earlier, I'm really looking forward to the Normandy release, some really nice flyable aircraft on the way including a Mosquito...and rumours that the AI C-47 will be flyable in the future.
They really are working hard on updates for things like ground texture, reflections and clouds. If they could get the clouds a little more HD, I will be a happy man.
Interesting to note they do work with the Gijin group (Warthunder) who are advancing their stuff very quickly as well.

As a screener and not a shooter, this platform is a feast for warbird shots. Yesterday I downloaded a little package from their forum, that will pick up preview shots from contributing repaint artists(and there are a few). If I want one, it will automatically download it and install it .... for free.
