The latest release from IL-2 ...Try as I may, I can't make it look anything other than brutal ...a Spitfire in a similar setting would look beautiful, but not this monster.

Numbers 2 and 5 are something you would not want to look up and see in your rear-view mirror.

Mighty beasts they were. I have the AH one in my FSX, and I am sure I have a book somewhere by a WW2 pilot, Polish or Dutch chap I think. Apparently that huge prop was very handy if your ground crew wanted to lay down a few tomato plants or similar :lol:

ps EDIT I had a look for that old 2017 post and corrected the [img] link, which had been updated by PostImage. So now it has been 'bumped' as if it was a new post :o
