The Shack (MR-Mk-2)

Recently released on war thunder ...so new, there are no repaints as yet ...and some issues to resolve. But overall looking pretty good...except for the prolapse toward the stern

 Great pic, Marty. I saw one at a RAF Leuchars BoB Day in the early or mid-1960s, but of course the radome was retracted to the landing position. Main thing to check with a Shack model is the prop rotations

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Cheers Mike ...I'm really hoping someone will do some paints for the old girl, but there seems to be a bit of pushback from the WT community over this model for some reason.
The issues I mentioned are ...the cockpit is very basic (will be added later) and that search radar cant be retracted without lowering the landing gear.... but it's being worked on as well.
I so much want to see this in RSAF paint.

Interesting - obviously IRL there would be interlocking to prevent conflicting movement, but that would hardly be done by shared hydraulics. What if they had to ditch, or belly-land?
Mebbe the modellers had watched 'Memphis Belle' too much?
